Default Securing the battery?

I recently built a T3D II Wild Beast and flew it for the first time yesterday. After about half a lap the battery popped out of the battery compartment and hung by the wire. The best I could do was belly flop into a pine tree (I was going very slow, so no damage). Today I took it out again, I wedged a toothpick across the battery compartment to wedge the battery in. Again after about 10 seconds of flight the battery popped out and hung by the wires. With the balance shifting wildly I was able to set it down softly in the grass. So how do you guys secure the battery on these things? The battery compartment is up in the nose of the plane with foam sides surrounding the foam fuselage, with the bottom open. I'm using a 3 ounce LiPo. Any of you guys who fly this plane or the original T3D Cap have a suggestion? Ideally I'd like to come up with some sort of lightweight clipping method so I can swap out batteries quickly and easily.
