Ya Matt that comment has really not gone at WAMS, the guys that run it, feel the same way you described, several joined at first including me. I helped at all there field day, cutting and trimming grass. Even helped making the car track. Which went thru portion of the UControl circle. And the RC ignored the Circle and flew over and around the circle. Not a good environment. Lots of Quad copters. Young kids, even the older guys are not respective of general rules. And offer the facility to other RC clubs. Mostly on weekends. Several have quit and went back to Thunderbird field. It’s in a state Park have to pay to enter unless your a AMA member I am Life AMA and CAF, SAM and L-19 life. trust and FAA registered. Not required for the Circle, but I have it. Hood County came buy resident complained. My Neighbor, I flew and was putting up my stuff. Had all requirements he asked for. Turned out he was a member with his son at WAMS! Even he had an attitude about the Circle. But could not do a thing. On my Properity own to the center of the runway. Only fly in south wind. Got to be careful. And watch for Aircraft. Usually fly after the sun sets.AJ
