Ya I haven’t been to that field in two years so I don’t know about the quad scene. Ya I always use a heat gun especially in the winter to warm my Fox troop. And use just a few drops of lighter fluid in the Venturi. Usually starts right up. I flew the pipe line in Ardmore back in the seventys. We have got a few of the para gliders on our Airport. I have four Toung mufflers. All different hole exits top, bottom, and end holes depending where my needle valve screw is located on the plane. They get pretty dirty with burned on caster oil. I’ve cleaned them in my sonic cleaner 180 degree distilled water and 88 degreaser. Usually takes three thirty minute cycles. They look like new. Finally found a place to get seals for my Fox engines. If your after parts for your KandB Mecoa in California can fix you up. AJ
