Never flew a real one, just a passenger but yes, Cubs aren't trainers they are a handful on the ground and depending on the model can snap and spin if they get too slow. There's a few exceptions, E-Flite makes some that are easy to fly with SAFE receivers but unassisted yes, they can be salty on the ground
