LOL sorry to say Lonnie LOL, it's a smelly 2 stroke in my P-40, I never seen a RC plane land so fast. a guy at the field said it must come in close to 30mph. I'm glad I was not landing it LOL. the engine is my OS Hyer 50. I have a 2 blade APC 11x8 on it, a larger 3 blade with less pitch should help slow down the landings (as I have been taught). plus a war bird should have a 3 blade on it.
any-hoo. I feel a 12x6 3 would be way too much pitch, so the 12x5 3 is the first to try.
to add, with this oversized 60L Heli carb and prop, and oversized stock type muffler the engine runs and idles low wonderfully. peak RPM is 12.800. I tune for flight at 12.200+. other guys at the field say it's a 100mph plane.
