OK, this is about off-topic as I've ever been, but I started to get a little worried, since I'm one of those morons who occassionally sticks a glow plug heater in my pocket, plus those jewels are really important to me. So I did a little science. I took my freshly charged trusty ol' heater, and I tried to use a coin to short it out. No way, the terminal is way too deep. So I tried a pen knife, no way. OK, how about the point of a phillips screwdriver or an allen wrench? Not even a tiny spark. No way to start a fire with it.
Now, I'm not saying it didn't happen, in fact, I assume if Stalspin saw it, it probably did happen. I'm just saying there are a whole lot of things to worry about, and I don't think this is one of them!
Trust me here...
it can happen-and it does happen. Don't ask how I know--but I did have a spare key set (and pants) in the car. Hot! Hot! Hot!
