I have to agree about this at the "federal level". I've been watching some of the Trump cabinet "thrashings" and have seen the old school Democrats doing everything they can to smear and denigrate the candidates. About all they have done is make themselves look foolish and apparently are suffering from "TDS". I've seen it in other local organizations as well. The "old guard" doesn't want to give up power so they do everything they can to stay in power. It's too bad really, to see this happening, since all it does is destroy the organization. Having been on the receiving end of this kind of treatment, I know how bad it can go for the "old guard" if the newer people learn how to "fight back", like the wife and I have had to do on several occasions
