My solution for launching a scale model from a rather rough grass field.
A 70mm EDF on 4s but being made of sheet foam and very light it is well throttled back in normal flight so can cruise about for quite while.
It glides nicely too! Von Braun obviously got the aerodynamics about right.
It really is scale.

Two tested early 1945, The intention was to glide to increase the V-2 range.
It was also going to be the second stage of a much bigger rocket that would reach the USA.
