I was thinking about your question about electric start motors. As I said I have one, but never use it. I may be pushing that envelope, but my motors all Fox or should I say mostly all Stunt 35s. My 59 likes to kick, but I’ve been adjusting the needle valve in an attempt to nil that issue. Been wondering if that needle valve is the correct one. I removed it, the hole that is controlled by needle assembly is a drill size. That’s very close to what my Stunt 35 is. Just a very tad larger. My small drill pack is sized, but I dropped it and the several drills about twenty in all
,fell to the ground. So small that only a magnetic tool would pick them up. Big mistake. But back to your issue. The cone on your electric starter. Is important and must fit your spinner like a glove fits your hand. I was running Four cycle OS motors when I bought my electric starter. It worked well, starting my Four cycle RC engines. Out of RC now. Just can’t afford it any more. But adjusting my 59 Fox has become an issue, learning a new phase of our hobby, it’s enjoyable to say the least. But adjusting that spray bar location angle. Guys keep them lines tite! AJ
