Did you use thin cyano? If you used medium maybe it didn't soak into the gap for the whole length of the hinge. I also noticed that you were using the smaller size of IHobbies hinges. The ones on mine are much bigger. Dad made a mistake putting the first one in, tried to pull it out and the wood broke before the glue did.

On the plus side, i'm getting to know the capiche much better now, looking forward to next years freetyle comp.

On saturday a limbo dancer went out of control and came down with great force right onto the spot where i had been starting an engine 30 odd seconds before. Had that engine taken a little bit longer to get going could would have got the shock of my life!
