With a house build project just underway, spinner is yet to be tried with the electric start....but your comments above are taken to heart! For my windshield (Super Ringmaster) I have collected an assortment of plastic bottles and containers, all of which have a nice curvature. After the engine starts, I'll be turning to the windshield shaping and gluing.
Sorry about your continuing back issues. I had major back surgery in 2003. The discs between L4 and L5 had thinned and slipped out, and L4 was slipping away from L5. I had a fusion of the vertebrae and a square plate and 4 screws put in to stabilize everything. It has held up for 22 years so far (!!). I did find I couldn't twist side to side on a narrow bed anymore, and moved to a queen size bed so I could "log roll" to each side!! Good luck!
