I've just started the build on a CG Extra 300 using a short kit done by aka Limey Bob in the USA. This is supposed to be a three friends exercise to replace my 27-year-old CG Extra I lost a few months ago as a result of a dead stick. The laser cutting is quite an improvement over the original CG kit, but the interlocking is not as precise as the original was, but still quite good.

So far, I have completed all the tail feathers and fully framed up the fuse. My next step is to start on the wing panels and thanks to the construction manual that I kept from my original kit, it has all gone together quite smoothly.
