Thanks for the comments, as you mentioned, the MK mount is spaced off from the hardwood beams by four aluminum standoffs, which serve as the attachment points to the hardwood mounts. This configuration allows the mount to ‘float’ above the engine hardwood beams.
That carbon fiber reinforcement on the nose ring came already applied by RCAiir. As mentioned earlier in this thread, the fg fuselage has some surface quality issues—numerous pinholes and, in particular, the seam line will need to be filled completely from nose to tail using an appropriate putty.
This will be addressed during final preparation for paint.
