I was fortunate to find a Tri-R Mooney last summer, restore it and fly it successfully. It's a great plane with no undesirable tendencies. I have a few more finishing touches to add such as the nose wheel hatch doors, etc. But since these planes are near impossible to find, I'm inspired to scratch build my next one. I love this aircraft design along with the Bonanza V35.
