Be sure the absolute length of the wing tube hasn't become too long to fit in the receptor tubes. If you knock out the wooden caps in the ends of the paper tubes they can be very difficult to get back into place. The next outboard shearweb will limit left/right movement of the metal tube but I don't like to have things moving around in the air. As for any gap that may be remaining between the fuse side and the wing panel, use some wing seating tape to fill it in. This will also help protect the side of the fuse. Hope this helps.
