You really don't need to put in the third line. Just clamp the line to the carb and fill. If your vent is at the top of the tank you won't have a problem. If you are using a check valve on the pressure side, you will need 2 fuel dots. 1 for vent and 1 for fill. This is a common set-up for people using pumped engines.
