RE: Capiche 50
the firewall is lined up with one line on the mat, the ruler with the top of the CNC fuz, and the top of the ruler is lined up nicely with the mat too. so the firewall is correct.
the black line is the cowl position and appears to lean back.
on the last i had no upthrust, maybe even some down. but this time it all just looks wrong, the cowl front doesn't match the side thrust angle of the spinner and if i make it match then it's off center from the spinner. the mount is bang on center with the line up hole.
first time i ever did a cowl and it was perfect, this time round when i'm supposed to know what i'm doing it's a right lash up.
very much like this reply which i lost thanks to this F-ing spell check that you have to copy and paste.
I've heard of up thrust for 3D before, so i might just go with what i've got. Just weird that before it was ok, this time with the engine sat square in the mount it's totally wrong, these pics are with the engine twisted down and i still have up thrust. maybe the mount was bent in the crash?
