One consideration with the SuperStar is where you plan on flying it. It is not what I would consider a parkflyer. It is a large, heavy airplane compared to the TM and the SS.

If you are teaching yourself to fly and will fly in a park, I would highly recommend the Slow Stick. It seems to meet all of your criteria and has an excellent track record. Spare parts are inexpensive... you can buy a whole second kit for $35.
