Default RE: Looking for a .60 Warbird ARF

Hello,

Does anyone have an opinion on whether the WM Spitfire (60 size) would make a good third plane? My current second plane is a Sig 4*60 with a Saito 100 and I am comfortable with it. Given my second plane, and a decent level of proficiency, do you think that it would be reasonable for me to handle the spit?

WM is reportedly coming out with an 80" version of the Spitfire. I like the idea of going with a larger plane, but at a reported 15lbs, it looks like a lot more to handle than the 60 size and I would have to use a significantly larger engine, perhaps even a gasser, which I have no experience with. The WM Website says the 60 size Spitfire is aroudn 7.5 lbs, which is probably not much more than my 4*60. Anyone know the weight of their 60 size WM Spitfire?

Thanks,

Travis
