I have a LiveWire but did not even try the stock motor combo... I suspect that on 3S 11.1V Li-Poly's perfomance would be good... BUT th emotor life would be short lived.

I have an Astro 010, 14T on her now with a GWS C drive, not the most powerful setup around but adequate.

Over all the model flies very well IMO...
