RE: .18 xtm racing engine on a tmaxx
I had an XTM .18 in a T-Maxx, it's on-par with the TRX 2.5 considering power, both produces around 1.33 hp and the XTM will wheelie with an 18 tooth clutchbell. Not sure about reliability, I still have it in my garage and it smokes when I run it, so I'm suspecting it's the internal bearings that are burning up, some compression was lost after 3/4 a gallon too, but generally it's a nice powerful motor and you'll have to cut the crankshaft for the T-Maxx clutchnut (buy the threaded shaft).
