I use velco.

Wrap the battery or Rx in foam, then wrap it in velcro, then stick it where ever you want.

They is a guy, Vel-Tie or something like that, sells the NASA type velco, thats what you want, not the stuff sold at the store.

It has a special type of velco, that you glue down. Then the piece you wrap around the battery is two sided, this is what allows you to stick it anywhere. AND ITS STRONG!!! You may break the wood trying to get the velcro to release.
