Default I know this sounds crazy!!!

Listen, I have a LE MANS 360ST electric motor that i got out of my old rc car(Kyosho Icarus). Its an off-road buggy and it was really fast. The engine off of it is in great condition. Its just parts now and will never be a complete car again. What I wanted to know is if anyone knew if that engine, being that is has alot of torque could be put in a foamy 3d flyer that I am cutting out. If so, what type of battery should I go with. I used to run off of a 7.2 volt 1200mah battery that seems very big. What kind of speed control would go good with it? Im planning on getting the HS-55 servos. The engine has external brushes on the back and it says racing motor on it. Its like 10 yrs old but looks brand new. Ive heard that you dont have to go with brushless motors to make a 3d foamy. I checked out the engine to see if it runs and she screams. Will it work???
