Default RE: Converting a Homelite Chainsaw engine for Model Aircraft Use

Yes there is a site. It's called rcuniverse.

The late model Homelite and Poulan chains saw are a lot alike. Also, the 33 through 45 cc late Homelites and up to 46 cc Poulans are a lot alike. Do a search for the Poulans and transpose the information on a comparison basis to your Homelite. There's been a tremendious amount written about these in the last year. There's little differences in the various ones as to whether there is a magneto mount on the block or the carb is rigidly mounted or just has a rubber boot?

Enjoy,

Jim
