There really is no other way to setup the stock muffler on the Saito. I have seen others use just a flex pipe from Saito without the muffler but I don't know how well it works as there is no way to run a pressure line to the tank. I think Slimline makes a pitts muffler for Saitos but again, I don't know how well it would fit into the cowl of the WM Spit. There isn't much room from the exhaust opening of the Saito to the left side of the cowl, about 3/4".
