Default RE: Still TS 760 cut-off saw

I was thinking about building a Mike Hurley Extra. I've got the servos, and other radio gear. There is a guy at our club who cut his own kit with a laser of some kind. I might contact him and see if he'll cut me a kit. Now if I can just get another friend to cut the cores for me, I'd be sitting pretty. Mike has the templates for the cores and will let me borrow them.

Another plane I was thinking about was the Lanier Giles 202 35%

Or the Lanier Laser 200 33%

It might be a bit small for the engine, but can you imagine the vertical-- even here at 6000'?[sm=spinnyeyes.gif]

I need to get the engine converted first. Plenty of time to make up my mind on a plane.
