Default RE: E-Maxx winter driving, GOOD GRIEF !

Well, the good side is that the chap obviously is well meaning.

Anyways, the REAL winterproofing for an E-Maxx is simple (Take it from someone who lives in snowy scandinavia):

- Rubber ballon for the receiver. Tamiya part no 50194.
- M'tronics Super E-Truck ESC. It's waterproof, unlike the kit supplied Novak thingie. http://www.mtroniks.net/whatsnew.htm
- Steering servo? Well if you insist, open it and seal the printboard with a spray can plastic sealant (Bostic Plastic 70, I think) and fill the pot-meter with Tamiya Switch Lube (no 87023). Or you can leave the servo alone, it will last a good time in water before it fails.

And no, I don't have an E-Maxx. I have a Tamiya Wild Dagger. Also twin engined but (slightly :-) less brutal. Therefore I can manage with the less expensive "truck" ESC.
