I have a Homelite XL chainsaw engine that I'd like to convert for use in an airplane. The problem is that I don't know what size the engine is. The car (Walbro) is located on the crankcase - on the bottom of the engine off on a slight angle. All 2cycl. engines I've seen the carbs are mounted on the side of the cyl.

Anyone know what size the engine may be? And, where can I get conversion parts? Is this engine worth converting?
