RE: Still TS 760 cut-off saw
I got the engine in the mail today. Looks good. Engine is very clean inside. It's one of those that will need to be cut up with a bandsaw. It feels REALLY light.
No carbon build up on top of the piston. Cylinder looks spotless, no scoring or marks inside. Will have to replace crank bearings, no seals on the back one. It has an outer shell with a seal inside, but I'll cut that off and replace the bearing with a sealed one.
I've been eyeballing the Wild Hare Giles. Can't find a single bad comment about a Wildhare product. Everyone seems happy with the quality and construction.
