Hi Scott!

With winter approaching, I spent three evenings a month or so ago researching the ski situation (we now have an early foot and a half of snow on the ground, and the lake just froze over last night, about 2 weeks early!). It could be a long winter.

I thought Bruces' design was the best, yet simplest way to go, and therefor bookmarked his website. I am also impressed with the great photos, as well as the nicely detailed text on the construction if his skis.

I have a Hobbico Superstar EP that is under construction, and I have already gotten 1/8 wire for a main gear replacement, and am now ordering the lite ply for the skis. They'll be a tad different than his design, but much of the theory will be the same. I'll post some photos when I have something to take photos of.
