It will have a damn good vertical performance, but not enough to hover on.

Technically, depending on your altitude and weather condotions, you MAY be able to hover it, but for hovering, you want LOTS of EXTRA power to pull you out of a jam if need be.

There are lots of planes that WILL hover with that engine... and there's always NEXT Christmas!
