RE: Hype 3D and Saito .72
Hey Beerman,
Got mine last week. I know what you mean about CA ing the fin in, my first time doing it. I was surprised its rock solid. That CA really hardens the balsa, but you gotta work fast. I plan on building according to directions, dont want to put servos in the tail. I have pull pulls on my DP Ultimate and it works great. I want to keep as light as possible. The plane is made to fly slow. I read about some problems when you fly to fast with it. I went with the West engine, liked the way it fits, I was tempted to put a YS 63 I had laying around, but I think the West is the better choice for weight and fit. I have the wing, ailerons, stab and elevators in place, next will be engine install. So far this has been one of the easiest planes to assemble. Keep me posted on your building. What engine are you installing ?
