I didn't have any warped surfaces; it all went together fine. And yes, the wheels are too small and the retracts are too wobbly, but I do fly off grass, so it can be done if the grass isn't more than a 2-3 inches tall. I was thinking about making the wheel wells bigger like the World Models warbirds where they are wood-type cutouts instead of glue-in plastic wheel wells. It would probably give you another 1/2-3/4 inch for bigger wheels. Maybe someday.
