Default RE: which one: carden extra330 or edge540?

I also like robt's suggestion. Now i have never flown either of these planes (only H9 sukhoi as far as giants) I do know that some people are partial to extras and edges (kinda like CHEVY vs. FORD). The only person who can help you is someone who has flown both of these. Every brand of plane flys different than the other. My thinking is that if you can do an extremely slow roll without changing heading or altitude, then you can do it with either plane. Sure one has its advantages over the other and vice versa, but if you pick one and dint fly the other you'll never know. A gu in our club has a Wild Hare 35% giles and a Lanier 31%Edge. Although one is slighty bigger than the other, when he is flying they look the same (except the giles looks like its wing is backwards). All of his maneuvers with both planes look very smooth and precise. His slow rolls are slightly better with the Giles, but everything else is about the same. I think no matter which 40% you pick, if it is set up right, is just as capable as anything else. Just my $.02.
