All True OnEdge, but if he is primarally a F3A pilot who wants to play with IMAC he shouldn't build a 40%. That's why I recommend rhe Gator Giles for him. It is really a pattern plan in the shape of a giles. I don't know what Chip is offering, but any of his planes might be good crossover planes if the are small / light enough to be F3A legal.
