I am going to be converting a Hangar 9 60 P51 ARF to electric power next month and I want to install flaps in the Mustang like the 150 size. Does anyone that has one know if the wing is built up or is it a foam core wing? A foam core wing would make it much simpler for me to make the modification. If its built up then I wont mess with it. I am only going to add about 2 pounds to the plane as I will be using Lithium Polymer batteries and I want to install CJM Retracts and struts. If anyone can help I would appreciate it I am worried the extra weight will make the plane land faster and that it will need the flaps?
