I just got my plane back after going to court. I found out my plane was in this guy's bar. I went there and the first thing out of his mouth is "I got an offer of $400 dollar's for the plane". since I only had $100 bucks in it I said I'd split the money, he could give me $200 and I'd give him the plane. I ended up in a mexican standoff, with me holding my plane, and him blocking my exit out of the bar. I told him to call the police at least 10 times, he kept saying he found the plane, finally someone else called them. I said sorry, its still my property. Police came, took away the plane and today I had to go to the DA's office and explain my case. After hearing my story, DA said no problem, its your plane. After explaining this to the other guy, the guy had the nerve to ask to file trespassing charges against me for picking up the plane from the counter of his bar. DA just laughed. I originally had taken the guy two cases of beer, a nice shirt with the club's logo and $20 bucks, which he turned down. I was very satisfied that he got nothing. I may even fly the plane over his bar a couple of times just to piss him off further. He'd probably get a shotgun and shoot it down.

Felt like I won the case on People's Court. The guy was an idiot, and they are out there.


Police advised me to engrave my name on the engine and somewhere inside so that there would be no question of ownership.
