Our field is located in a city park that has an apartment building to the north and a Frisbee golf course to the south. So far to my knowledge no one has hit the apartment complex as of yet but several planes have gone down in the Frisbee golf course area and that is one place you don't want to lose your plane. The reason why is because the golfers will strip the plane of its engine and electronics and smash the rest before you even get the chance to recover your plane. Some of the members have lost very nice expensive engines not to mention electronics on that course. Lucky enough we have the AMA that will cover this type of theft.
