Well since I dont own either plane I can only offer an opinion based on my limited knowledge of both planes. I think the question should be what are you looking to accomplish and what are your skills. I think the UCD is more for the person learning or breaking into 3D where as the Hype is definately more a wild plane that's better off in the hands of a person who has already developed their 3D fingers....atleast to a moderate degree.

But I can say that if the UCD 46 doesnt fly any better than the UCD 60 I wouldnt own one. But then again I'd like to think that I already have decent 3D fingers
