RE: UCD 46 or 60 for learning?
Hey
First off I'm using a saito 80 in my .46 UCAN and for me it's the perfect combo, now I'm sure other people will have other opinions, But let me give you a little advice, You can get on this forum and read and read and get a lot of information about the UCAN's .46 and .60, but in the end it really depends on how you like to fly,and what you want out of your setup, everybody likes something different, that's what makes this forum so great you can take alittle bit from each persons experience and come up with your on, Now for me I have tried 8 engines on the .60 size, and after 4 unfix-able UCAN's, two bad crashes that I fixed, and the 3 that I fly now, The best engine and plane combo as far as the .60 size is the Webra 120 with the pump and a pitts muffler, Now I had to go through hell trying to find this perfect marriage and I'm sure there is some people that want agree but then again were talking about what YOU LIKE,,,, and the reason for the very bad crashes was I did a lot of modifying, and changing a few things around, and some did not work at all but that's what this hobby is all about, well for me it is,,, So back to your question I can only tell you what is a awesome setup for me as far as the .46 is concerned and that is a saito 80, with 605's all around cept throttle( anyone you have left over that is reliable will work fine for that) note they don't make the 605's anymore so you can use the 645's, but there are a lot of LHS that still carry the 605's, So take your .46 and and try a few different things with it, you will know when you hit that sweet spot... Good luck...
