Got me a Shoestring, and got it done
I got this the other day, and finally got it done today, other than making sure the wings are balanced correctly. I have a saito 91 on it and used those Du bro control horns that have the metal screw all the way through the wood. They appear to be very stable. More than the original plastic ones, but I have those on all my others and have had no problem as of yet thank the Lord. (the originals) It balanced from front to rear almost perfectly. I took one 1/4 ounce lead square and had to trim about an 1/8 off of it. I aint gonna put the wheel pants on it until I know I can fly and land it successfully. I have been flying the Super Sportster, & Extra 300 for a while now so I hope and pray that I will have no problem with this one. I have been practicing on the G2 simulator with this plane and so far so good. I just bounce a bit. Any pointers from any of you that have this particular plane?
