I agree that a bigger prop is a must. The 14-6 was just the biggest prop that would fit with the shaft in the current configuration. I didn't want to cut up the prop spacer that I borrowed from another engine. Has anyone tried making a casting incorperating the sump and an engine mount. The plate between the block and the sump seemd a good idea but I suspect that the struts on the side allow more vibration than is desireable. Wish I had a welder.
