Don`t give up! You said yourself that you enjoyed flying your trainer. If you still have it, why not go back and fly it a while? You`ll probably get the feeling of enjoyment back and after a while can move on to another plane ( always an excellent idea to get the most experienced pilot you can find to maiden a new plane! ). I got frustrated and discouraged while learning every time I dinged up my Avistar. Hell, I got so bad that one day I rolled it on a landing ( no damage even ) and if somebody right then had asked me if I wanted to sell my stuff I`d have practically GIVEN them everything! Anyway, I came to the realization that this is a hobby where YOU BREAK THINGS. It just happens. If you can come to accept that then you`ll be OK. Stick with it! I did and I`m really glad I did!
