Finally I have flown my Duellist.
Started building this bird in August '01. I had this crazy idea to cover it in glass and paint it which turned out to be more work than I was ready for but it turned out to be a great plane.
According to my "fish scale" it weighs 10.5 pounds. Powered by TT Pro 46s and a few Futaba servos stuffed inside. Hobbico mechanical mains and Robart on the nose. I have flaps set up but was too nervous to use them on the first flight...really didn't need them! We had strong winds here this weekend.
The engine nacelles are moved in one rib and the engines are not offset. It was too late for me to "zero" any of the flying surfaces but am glad I was able to modify the nacelles.
That's all I can think of for now...exciting!!
