I also bought 2 of these at that swap meet in Wisconsin today. I think it is a really nice design and it worked great on the U CAN DO I am setting up right now. I works much better then that piece of crap great planes one I wasted money on. Roy seams to be willing to work with you on this problem. I would have emailed him before bashing his product. After all, his email address is all over the package and product.
