I'm sure someone can answer better than I, but I hear with the throttle pipe combo that it makes the engine produce much more torque than a normal 2 stroke of it's size and able to swing a larger prop. And with the weight or lack of in this engine it makes it a great match. Apparently West offers a simiar version that is stroked differently giving it more RPMs and spinning a smaller prop faster. So I hear.
