Servos...HS5925 or JR8231
I've had no serious problems with Hitec servos and have never had a problem with Jr servos.
I've used both the 8231's and the HS5925.
Don't compare apples and apple cinnimon crisp on this one.
The JR has a superior deadband(centering accuracy) rating to the Hitec. But, the Hitec has a stronger gear train and decent centering accuracy, plus the price point on the Hitecs sit well with a many a modeller.
If your going to spend that much on the 5925's lots of guys will fork out the little extra and pick up Jr's composite gear train servos. Your choice.
After using the Hitec digitals on even my pattern airplanes I probably won't hesitate to buy more for the same type of plane. Price and value plays a big role and I think Hitec has done a good job thus far.
As for the guy that doesn't know an apple from an orange first before blabbing his mouth off at another product...better be an exceptional flyer.
