Two weeks ago I watched as I heard one of the better flyers at our club holler Dont got it, got it, dont got it, what the heck is going on here. After a few tense moments he got his 1/3 cap on the ground with the left aileron at full up deflection. Investigation showed that one of the far superior JR servos had fried and was locked in the full deflected position.

Every servo has good and bad points. Many 3D flyers I know are using Hitec with out any problems.
There was a problem with the hitec servos locking up at 150 % but that has now been resolved, so they claim, and I will continue to purchase Hitec and fly them in my planes with FULL confidence.
