Servos....HS5925 or JR8231
I am a jr man, the manager sold me the jr 400 with 517 as my virgin loser back in the day. Since then I have ran the 8411 and never the digital hitech. I love the 8411 as it has become quite popular to find them for 100.00. I had friends tell me only to use the hitech for 1/4 scale or lower as the holding power is not all that unless you really stack them compared to the holding power of the 8411 which I 155 oz is on 4.8 volts so that's about 180 on 6 volts. Yes, they actually used them. I would love to save a dollar just like the next guy. So it really comes down to are you using them for a 1/4 scale or less, from what I have found out. Another thing I have found out is sometimes its better to just buy the better more expensive product in this case the 8411 because you may want to move up to a bigger plane; henceforth, you will not have to budget again for some better servos. eg... I am selling this 1/4, or I crashed it, now I am going up to the 33 -35% or better yet the 40% birds. Lords know we all have a stack of smaller what we called throttle servos in the box ready for that next bird. Yes my 3.23 cents worth of knowledge talk, so yes I will use hitech for my smaller birds if needed but for now 8411 are the ticket I am going with the idea its better to have a servo that centers well and has good holding power; hencefoth, it can make you smooth as silk.........
