I'm using a 2 cell (8.4v) kokam 340. I would also like to try an Irate 500 pack. They're only a gram heavier per cell and should put out similar amps. I got a video of it flying in a shed last Saturday, but I wont be able to post it till friday evening. I got my printer hooked up, so now I can print out tapered balsa ribs. My next project will be to get under 3oz and have atleast a square foot of wing area. I think the balsa one will be based on an Edge. I found out my motor only puts out about 6.5oz of thrust at about 4 amps with the 340s. I think its because the voltage drops lower than it did when I tested it with the etec 1200s. It still feels like its got lots of power in the air.
